About Us
Rick Foster has been passionately involved in the landscape industry in Sioux Falls since 1976. In 1987 he started on his own with Foster Landscaping, Inc. Since starting the company, he has received 8 design awards from the South Dakota Nursery and Landscape Association and is a South Dakota certified nursery professional.
Rick has a teaching degree from the University of Sioux Falls and a landscape degree from Southeast Technical Institute where he also taught landscape design and construction. He is a former president of the South Dakota Nursery and Landscape Association and is currently serving on its board of directors.
With a passion for beautifying Sioux Falls, Rick has become involved in several community projects. He is a member of the advocacy group Sioux Falls Beautiful and is currently the Chairperson for the newly formed Wegner Arboretum Society, a group formed to assist the city of Sioux Falls develop, build and maintain The Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum and East Sioux Falls Historic Site.
